Moon Dream

A poem

You wrapped the wind around my shoulders

as the departing light

left a kiss on our cheeks.

And the warm sand supported

us, while the mighty ocean reached

out and touched our feet.

The stars then chased the sun, and

under a spinning sky, we danced,

while the moon, like a river,

ran over the world, so silver.

I didn't have to wish it would

never end, dreams never

do. But they also could

never begin, some dreams just aren't true
